Recipes that add babyfood/vegetables in meals for kids and adults. Always add vegetables on the side of these main courses too. That way kids will get used to the idea of eating their vegetables. However, if they don't eat all of them, they get extra in the main course. Instead of using babyfood, you can always cook and puree vegetables.

How I cook my vegetables

I don't use pans for cooking my vegetables. I use either glad steam bags or just a regular old coffee cup. I put the vegetables in there and heat it up from 1-5 minutes. (depending how many servings) It's easy because your family can choose from different vegetables, not everyone has to have the same thing. Also, the nutrients stay in the vegetables.

Mac & Cheese 1

I make this by adding Gerber's 2ND foods Squash. It is yummy! Even my 2 year old son loves it!

Ingredients:

1/2 box of small shells (using 8 oz instead of the 16 oz)
1 Gerber 2ND foods squash (1 3.5 oz)
1/4 cup of milk
3/4 pound of Velveeta cheese (you can also try added a little shredded cheddar cheese, very cheesy!)

Cook pasta as directed on package. Drain and return to pan.
Stir in all ingredients, mix well over low heat.
